No Santa hat, and that is on purpose
What arrives is a portrait somebody would hang up, not a novelty overlay.
A portrait, not a filter
Velvet, painted light, a gilded frame. It reads as a piece of art of their animal, which is why it survives past Boxing Day instead of being a joke for one afternoon.
Three of them, one photo
Royal, Superhero and Manga come back together. Pick whichever suits the person — the regal one for a parent, the caped one for a nephew.
Nothing to post or ship
These are files. Nothing has to arrive in the mail by a deadline, which makes it the gift that still works on the 23rd of December.
Ninety-nine cents
All three at full size with no watermark, for €0.99, once. Cheaper than the card you would have put it in.
Three ways people use them at Christmas
The holiday card photo
The family dog as royalty at the top of the card, instead of the same hallway photo as last year.
A last-minute gift
For the person whose whole personality is their cat. One photo from their own social account is enough, and it takes about a minute.
The group chat
Everybody sends one of their own animal. The free versions carry a small link, which is how the next person finds out about it.
One dog, three portraits
One photo of one real dog, and the three portraits made from it.

Frequently asked questions
Styles, gifting, timing and cost.
Can I get my dog in a Santa hat?
No — Petary works in Royal, Superhero, Manga, Storybook, Painting and Realistic, and none of those is a costume overlay. What you get is a proper portrait of your animal, which tends to be the thing people actually keep after the holidays.
Is it free?
Seeing the three portraits is free, with no account and no card. They are previews and carry a small Petary mark. All three at full size with no mark are €0.99, paid once.
Can I use it for a Christmas card?
Yes. Buy the €0.99 full-size files and you have clean, high-resolution images to drop into whatever card you are making, physical or digital.
How late can I leave it?
There is no delivery to wait for. A portrait takes about 30 seconds and the files download immediately after payment, so Christmas Eve is fine.
Can I make one of somebody else's pet as a gift?
Yes, and it is the most common use of this page. Any clear photo of their animal works — one from their own social account is usually enough. Send them the files rather than a link so the surprise stays yours.
What if the portrait does not look like the pet?
Then do not pay for it. If you already have, the €0.99 is refunded in full, no questions and no form.
Does it work for cats?
Yes — cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and horses. Cats take the Royal Style especially well.
